To join the 5CDGP either print and fill out this form, or contact a member of the steering committee. Or you can sign up at any of our meetings or events.

Vote!

Greens who are currently running for office are listed on our candidates page. Voter information, including registration, can be found at the Minnesota Secretary of State's website. Information on elections in the City of Minneapolis can be found on the city's website.

Donate!

Your donation will help us run meetings, reach out to the community, keep the party running, and more. Donations can be earmarked. Visit our donation page.

Volunteer!

Volunteers are needed to help with campaigns, events, and committees. Current committees are listed on the committees page, or start a new committee on an issue important to you. There are also opportunities to help with strategic planning, public policy and issues, computer work, writing, meeting logistics, finance, etc. Contact a member of the steering committee to find out how you can help.

Show up!

In addition to various committee meetings, a general membership meeting is held at least every other month. The next meeting date, location, and agenda are listed on the main page. Contact the steering committee to be added to our mailing list.

To stay informed of upcoming events join the 5CDGP's announcements listserv. This moderated listserv is dedicated to announcements of interest to members of the 5CDGP.

Run!

Run for elected office or get yourself appointed to a commission. To seek the 5CDGP's endorsement contact the screening committee.

Speak up!

Contact your elected officials to let them know what you think and how they can best represent you. Find out how to reach your state and US reps and senators. Write a letter to the editor. Talk to your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Let the world know about the Green movement.

Join the 5th district discussion listserv. This is a great way to stay informed and share ideas with other Greens.
