Proposed changes to the bylaws - March 2010

The last sentence of the first paragraph of section 4 currently says: "Written notice posted at least ten days prior to the meeting date, through U.S. Postal Service shall constitute formal notification."

It is proposed to change this to: "An e-mail to the 5th District GP Yahoo Group, posting on the website, and Facebook invite at least ten days prior to the meeting date, shall constitute formal notification. If someone prefers to receive written notice through the U.S. Postal Service, they should let the SC know and they will receive one."

A modified version of the new language passed: "An e-mail to the 5th District GP Yahoo Groups, posting on the website, and Facebook invite at least ten days prior to the meeting date, shall constitute formal notification. If someone prefers to receive written notice through the U.S. Postal Service, they should let the SC know and they will receive one."
